GhostNet is a browser-based hacking simulation game. All IP addresses, servers, nodes, and targets displayed within the game are fictional and randomly generated. They do not correspond to real systems on the internet.
Commands such as nmap, nikto, hack, ddos, traceroute, and others are simulated entirely within the game. No actual network traffic is generated. No real systems are probed, scanned, or attacked.

GhostNet is intended as an educational and entertainment platform to help players understand cybersecurity concepts in a safe, legal, and controlled environment. The game is inspired by real penetration testing workflows to give players an authentic experience.
When you sign in with GitHub, GhostNet receives your GitHub username and public profile only. We do not access your repositories, email, or private data.
Your in-game data (username, XP, balance, botnet nodes) is stored in our game database. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
GhostNet is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose. The game is in active beta and may undergo changes, resets, or downtime at any time.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of GhostNet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
